Stefan Salvatore’s dark side explored by Nina and Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder:
Stefan is going through a major shift in character when season three returns. He will embrace his dark side, and Ian Somerhalder is confident that the actor will be able to handle the task because he “will teach him.” However, Nina Dobrev does drop another hint. In the season finale, Elena kisses Damon, and she has been dating Stefan for the last two seasons. With Stefan embracing his evil side, she said that there “will be consequences” for Elena since the kiss happened. Could this lead to an even bigger battle between the Salvatore brothers in season three?
