Just as we were writing up some “Vampire Diaries” casting news, a clip popped up online for Episode 5.10, “Fifty Shades of Grayson” so here are both items for you in one convenient package.
First up, Spoiler TV provided the casting tidbit: Ryan Kessler (pictured, Pinkville) will play the role of John in a future episode. No further details are currently known.
Next, in the clip below it looks like Katherine is trying to get in shape with some help from Matt.

DAMON’S PAST RETURNS TO HAUNT HIM — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) realizes Elena (Nina Dobrev) is in danger and enlists Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) help to find her. The brothers pay a visit to Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos), and Damon shocks Stefan by revealing his first-hand knowledge of Aaron’s family.
