Just when you thought Nina Dobrev’s job couldn’t get any harder, now we’re being teased with yet a fourth doppelganger! The Vampire Diaries actress wowed us last week with her portrayal of three separate characters — Elena Gilbert, Katherine Pierce, and Amara — all in one scene, but she’s not done yet! So what exactly did Nina tell E! Online about future Petrova doppelgangers?
“Now they’re alluding to a fourth [doppelgänger], although we haven’t done anything, so I can’t say if that’s going to happen for sure,” Nina said. Yikes! This girl has got to be the hardest working girl on television this side of Tatiana Maslany (yes, there is a clause in Tatiana’s contract dictating that she must be mentioned in all doppelganger-related television articles). It may mean more work for Nina, but we’d be eager to see her take on another Petrova doppelganger. So far, she’s done an amazing job with the characters she’s been handed so far — making them distinct and memorable in their own ways.
