News: Dobrev: 'Vampires season two will be fun'

There may be spoilers that you wish to avoid if you haven’t seen the finale yet. You’ve been warned.

Nina Dobrev has admitted that she is looking forward to the second season of The Vampire Diaries.

Dobrev explained that she is excited about playing both Elena and Katherine in the next run.

“I’m going to be playing two characters at once, so it’s going to be challenging, but it’s going to be fun and interesting,” she told TV Guide Magazine. “[Katherine] wreaked so much havoc before she was even here.

“For 21 episodes everyone teased everything she’s done and how horrible she is and how complicated she makes everyone’s lives. So now that she’s back you can imagine what next season is going to be like. It’s going to be bloody and scary and gory. A lot of people are going to die.”

Meanwhile, Candice Accola confessed that she has no idea what will happen to her character Caroline, who was injured in a car accident in the first season finale.

“I really don’t know,” she said. “We have two months of agonising, twiddling our thumbs in frustration, to find out what’s happening.”

News & Photos: 12th Annual Hollywood Awards

Looks like the majority of the TVD cast was in attendance at the Young Hollywood Awards on May 13th. Sara Canning (Jenna Summers), Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert), Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes), Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy Gilbert), Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan), Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore), Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood) and Matt Davis (Alaric Saltzman) were looking glitzy and glamourous at the event. Ian Somerhalder was attending a Lost-related event and could join his castmates.

They won a few awards:

Cast to Watch: Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, and Ian Somerhalder from “The Vampire Diaries”
Making their Mark: Nina Dobrev

Congrats to the cast!

I’ve added 104 HQ images from the event of the cast members mentioned above.
