'Vampire Diaries' Star Nina Dobrev: 'Elena Is In Between Salvatores'

When it comes to “The Vampire Diaries” we’re always full of questions and thankfully, Nina Dobrev was on hand to answer some more of them for us on Sunday. What’s going to happen with “The Vampire Diaries” steamy love triangle? Will Elijah’s interest in Elena Gilbert turn it into a romantic rectangle? And who knew Klaus could develop a soft spot for anyone, let alone Miss Mystic Falls herself, Caroline? These were our burning Q’s for Nina at the annual Oscars party thrown by Elton John and producer husband David Furnish where, looking just as ravishing on the red carpet as on that recent Entertainment Weekly cover series, our favorite Petrova Doppelgänger cheerfully dished to Hollywood Crush.

Oscar party scoop: Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev go green for Elton John

While their “Vampire Diaries” co-star Kat Graham covered the fashion on E!, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev did their Academy Awards celebrating in West Hollywood, where they attended Elton John’s Oscar party to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Dobrev was stunning as always in a J. Mendel black dress, complete with plunging neckline and edgy shoulder cut-outs. Somerhalder, per usual, gave James Bond a run for his money in his tux.

The night wasn’t just about fashion and glam for Somerhalder, though, who was at the event on behalf of GoGreen Mobile Power. He first spoke to Zap2it about the eco-friendly generator company, which he described as “a very strong green energy company that produces portable, mobile green power,” way back in June 2010.

At that time, the generator was just a prototype. Today, it was used at one of the world’s most exclusive and highly anticipated events. (Congrats, Ian!)

The generator used at the party used sustainable energy as opposed to the off-grid dirty energy that is often sourced at events or on film sets. Somerhalder has already made significant strides toward keeping “The Vampire Diaries” set as eco-friendly as possible. GoGreen Mobile Energy will continue to help him transform the television, film, and event industries, promising increased efficiency and a significantly reduced footprint.
